Bella Ridge Estate is a family owned and operated vineyard and boutique winery. Producing innovative and distinctive wines, the 25 acre property owned by Alon and Jodi Arbel is located on the foothills of the Darling Ranges in Western Australia’s oldest wine region – the Swan Valley.
Fruit is grown according to organic principles and winemaking is hands-off and largely guided by intuition and feel, not by any formula or preconceived notions. Most of the wines are produced from estate grown fruit, with vines planted all the way back in the 1960s; only wild yeast is used for fermentation; no corrections are made to the wine and sulphur is used only sparingly. Multiple picks of the vineyard are often employed to achieve greater complexity in the wines and nearly all of the wines spend several years in tank/oak/bottle before release as fully realised and complete works of art. These are some of the most complex and thought-provoking wines we have seen out of Australia recently. With a stunning and eclectic range including Chenin Blanc, Trebbiano and Kyoho (!!!) there is something here for every palate.
We are beyond excited to work with Jodi and Alon and bring these incredible wines to the market, they are simply too good to remain undiscovered!
