The La Posta wines are a project of Laura Catena to explore the different sub-regions of Mendoza. Laura grew up in the world of wine in Mendoza and her father Nicolas was a pioneer of the Argentina wine revolution. Growing up in this environment, growers were close friends. In the La Posta range Catena buys from a single grower in different sub-regions, the growers name is then emblazoned on the label.
When the range was released it really was great timing as we were specifically looking for wines to explore sub-regional differences in Malbec around Mendoza: the work had already been done for us!
