Dazma

While undertaking an Agriculture degree, Charlie Osborne was lucky enough to pick up a gig at Konpira Maru Wine Co, a fledgling winery in the minimum interventions space at the time. “That was the moment that captured my interest for wine making & agriculture”. No doubt.

After spending time in sales, as a cellar hand and eventually assistant winemaker at bigger wineries around the traps Charlie came back to Konpira Maru as a winemaker. It was during this period that Dazma was created. “Being from Victoria myself, I’ve always admired the wine that comes from here. Especially those from the King Valley.”

These days Dazma is based is the King Valley with all fruit sourced and made in situ. With industry mate Tom Dundon joining the team Dazma Wine Company are on a roll and are among the fastest selling wines in our catalogue.

“We want to make wine that was approachable. Wine that can be drunk from a mug around the fire, from a cup at the park or a glass over dinner. A wine that doesn’t discriminate.”
