Brett Grocke is the sixth generation of a family of grape growers with ties to several important Barossa sites. Brett made his name in the wine industry as one of the most highly sought after viticulturists in South Australia, working with many of the region’s heavyweights before inevitably following in his ancestors’ footsteps under the tutelage of none other than Robert O’Callaghan of Rockford.
The bedrock of Eperosa are two special vineyards purchased in 2013, the Magnolia vineyard in Vine Vale first planted in 1890 and another in Krondorf planted in (1903). These sites combined with organic vineyard management & low-input vinification, deliver wines of understated style & impeccable focus. Eperosa embody the types of wines we aim to represent, and we couldn’t be prouder to be working with Brett.
